Welcome to the Band Boosters
Welcome to the Grand Haven Band Boosters Association. We are the proud supporters of the Grand Haven Bands. The GHBBA is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to promoting educational excellence through the establishment and maintenance of an exemplary band program. We welcome all parents of students enrolled in the Grand Haven High School Bands, the Lakeshore Middle School Bands, and the White Pines Intermediate School Bands, as well as all friends and supporters of the Program.
The Need
The Grand Haven Bands are growing rapidly however, continued budget efficiencies and the resulting reduced financial support of the arts have made it increasingly more challenging for school music programs to continue to derive the funds necessary to support a quality music program. Many music programs have chosen to pass those costs on to parents of participating students. The Grand Haven Bands have resisted passing that burden to student families.
The Grand Haven Band Boosters Association (GHBBA) provides financial support for the Grand Haven Bands. Through various fundraising activities, the GHBBA provides the needed financial support so both directors and students can focus on music education.
