Grand Haven High School Ensembles

Grand Haven High School offers band students various performance opportunities. Students can perform in both Concert Ensembles and the Buccaneer Marching Band.

Concert Ensembles

Students may perform in one or more of the following concert ensembles:

  • Wind Ensemble 
  • Symphonic Band
  • Concert Band
  • Buccaneer Big Band (Jazz Band)
  • Pep Band
     

Marching Band

There are many sections that make up the Buccaneer Marching Band:

  • Drum Majors
  • Woodwinds
  • Brass
  • Buccaneer Percussion Corps
  • Color Guard

      Calendar: GH Bands High School Concert Season
      GHHS Graduation Band. Call time is 5:45. Wear full concert uniform. Bring sunglasses and a water bottle. Hand warmers and gloves may also be appropriate. Have a change of clothes for uniform return following graduation.

      2025-2026 Band members. Seniors required to perform to maintain grade on transcript. Honor the fallen. Meet at Central High School at 8:30. Get in uniform. Warm up at 9:00 front lawn. Line up. Parade at 9:30. Waterfront ceremony at 10:15 at Waterfront Stadium. Dismiss @ 11:15. Walk back to Central HS, uniform turn in, load trailer.
